About the Event
The retreat is where everything clicks. Across three days, participants move into kink-experienced learning—deepening somatic awareness, skill fluency, and clinical translation. We’ll expand negotiation into 201/301 territory (values and meaning-making, power agreements over time, protocol design, consent repair after rupture, and navigating shame or activation). Through body mapping, participants will learn to track “yes/no/maybe” responses in real time, identify triggers and preferences, and practice pacing and communication that support safety and agency.
Skills labs (all opt-in) focus on more advanced technique and nuance: building intentional scene arcs, layering sensation, integrating power exchange with care, working with intensity and drop, and creating consistent aftercare and follow-up plans. Participants will also engage in professional integration labs: case consultation, language updates for documentation, ethics and scope boundaries, and building a resource/referral map for clients.
